I am so glad you stopped by to visit! I love an opportunity to tell why I love photography.
~ Selah ~
Found mostly in the Psalms, ‘Selah’ means to stop and reflect on the value of what was just spoken. A photograph is a beautiful opportunity to pause and reflect on the abundant blessings in our lives without the distractions of the moment. It is my deepest desire to capture images that will paint a vivid picture of God’s love for you.
I have had a lifelong love of both children and photography. With seven years as an elementary educator, nine years as a childcare provider and over fifteen years (and counting) as a mommy, I have found great blessing in viewing the world through the eyes of children. In 2010 my husband and I traveled to Ethiopia to bring our youngest son, Sam, home. We both fell in love with the people and the culture and have been back four more times. God has grown in me a deep desire to capture images of Ethiopia to tell some of it’s stories. As we know more of God’s children and creation we know more of God. I hope you’ll take some time to look through my Africa gallery and pray for these precious people.
As you look through the images, I hope you will see more than just a moment in time.
Every good and perfect gift is from above.
